Pete Gilham

Pete Gilham

When the band formed, Pete specialised in singing while drinking pints of lager and vodka lime soda.

Since he grew up, Pete is more likely to be found schmoozing the crowd, encouraging them to come to his bar (V13, 13 Old Bailey St, Soho – hehe) after the gig.

Still sets his musical goals high - aspires to the ultimate performance rider – a Whopper from Burger King and a nice cold beer.
Happiest musical moment was when he heard Burger King was opening in Hong Kong outside of the airport and the band had to play a gig at the Regal Airport hotel.
Worst musical moment – still when he fell off the stage at the old F-stop bar (late) at one of the bands earliest gigs.
Luckiest moment – not spilling his drink while falling off the stage at the F-Stop.  (We should point out for new comers to Hong Kong that the stage at the F-Stop was only about 8 inches high so we never rated Pete very much for that effort)
Closest brushes with fame – went drinking with Deep Purple after their gig.  Jimmy Barnes also knew his name, for about 30 seconds.
